Safety and Risk Disclosure
KCC has legal and regulatory obligations to provide a duty-of-care to all that participate in KCC activities. We take all practicable steps to provide a level of care and safety that are appropriate to that activity. In each activity there will be a level of risk that is inherent to it and this could result in serious harm. We cannot eliminate all the risks without diminishing the character and experience of that activity. For more details see the activities section of our website.
We are implementing a Zero Bullying Policy here at KCC. This means no verbal or physical bullying. We do our best to keep camp a safe place for everyone who attends. Sometimes we have to send certain children home due to bullying in order to keep camp safe for the rest of the children. We have a three strike system unless serious situations. Each camper must acknowledge this policy and understand that if they bully other campers, they will be sent home.
